A Bit About Me
You might say I am a late bloomer in the ministry world. Most of my adult life was spent in retail, however I have been very involved in the Reformed Church in America for 40 years. After working most of my adult life in management, I heard God tapping my shoulder in 2015, and I enrolled for my master's in divinity degree from New Brunswick Theological Institution. I graduated with a master's degree in 2020. I had many responsibilities in the Middletown Reformed Church, serving over 25 years as a Deacon, Elder, Treasurer, Vice President of Consistory, and I headed a search committee when we were searching for a new minister.
After graduating from NBTS, I came to Whiting where I found a wonderful church that was looking for a versatile leader. After serving under a contract for 1.5 years, I received a permanent call from this church. I believe a church should have a strong voice in its community and be involved in ministering to others. We are proud of what we have accomplished in our community, yet there is so much more to do. I believe the family is a strong part of the church and my ministry is emphasizing on families being part of this church. We need you, and God needs you here in this ministry. My business, church, and people background lend a versatile approach in the business of the church. People are the most important Part in God's kingdom and I look forward to meeting all those that cross my path. People spot me a lot in Crestwood Village V as I am a big part of the residents that help that community.
